There's No Pleasing People

So I have a friend and then an acquaintance. Both of them are unexpectedly pregnant. I know one was looking for greens and browns, basically going for a jungle kind of theme. The other one I wasn't too sure about. However I know that her husband is really into football and that he loves when the kids get team gear. She plays into it too, not as much as him though.

One of them is a really great friend and the other one makes things for other people's babies all of the time. So I thought it'd be really cool to make baby bath sets for both of them. Some washcloths and a hooded towel. The washcloths are working up quick and easy and I'm thinking the towels will go the same.

But I've hit a snag. The one who's husband is really into football said she hopes she doesn't get too much gear because it'll get old quick. I've already ordered the yarn in the team's colors.

I'm undecided as to whether or not she's gonna get the set in the team colors or if I'll put it in my shop and work up something else for her.

This is the trouble with surprise gifts.
